Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Medical Director, Paramedicine (Part-Time) position in the Health & Public Safety Technology department in the Academic & Student Affairs division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College’s main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta.
The Medical Director will perform an integral part in the overall operation and advisement of the Medical Director of the Public Safety Technology Emergency Medical Services Programs Educational process. The Medical Director of the Public Safety Technology Emergency Medical Services Programs is a non-administrative position, serving as an instructional leader and advisor of the programs. While the Medical Director works cooperatively with the Program Director, the Medical Director is an independent contractor who does not report directly to anyone. The Medical Director shall be compensated as agreed upon between the parties.
The Medical Director provides medical and instructional leadership in all phases of the Public Safety Technology Emergency Medical Services Programs and acts as a liaison between the medical directors of the various hospital and field internship affiliates and the Program. As set forth in this Agreement, the Clinic shall provide the following Director Services as Director of the EMS and Paramedicine Programs.
