Description

Phlebotomist

Seeking a Phlebotomist for our Johnson City Internal Medicine office. Office/Lab hours typically 8-5, Monday through Friday.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform venipuncture, arterial, and capillary punctures on patients.
  • Conduct designated laboratory testing.
  • Assist in donor care prior to, during, and after donation.
  • Instruct patients on urine collection procedures and accurately label specimen.
  • Clean/Sterilize equipment, instruments, and work area.
  • Inventory supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Enter patient data timely and efficiently.
  • Follow organizational, departmental, and governmental policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy diploma program.

EXPERIENCE:

One year of phlebotomist experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Phlebotomy Certification
