What you will do:

This position provides essential organizational support to the Assistant Staff Director for General Services as the Department's Leasing Coordinator, and supports FCO and Grants & Aids.

How you will make an impact :

The incumbent in this position must display exemplary customer service and communication skills and ability to perform the following duties:

Provide technical leasing support to all DCF Regions.

Serves as administrator for the Departments private sector leases.

Review ITN's and Quote Submittal Packages for all private sector lease procurements, ensuring compliance with Chapter 255, Florida Statutes.

Acts as liaison with the Department of Management Services, contracted Tenant Brokers and DCF Regions on lease procurements to achieve best value.

Maintains statewide private sector lease data.

Prepare annual FCO/LBR as per EOG Guidelines.

Monitor and maintain State-Lands database SOLARIS/FITS, Tier 2 reports & Energy reports.

Promote building maintenance to meet the program's needs.

Prepare contracts agreements, Letters of Intent (LOI's) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU's).

Monitor providers performance to ensure accountability for contractual services.

Monitor contract's budgets to ensure funds are available through the contract term.

Maintain official contract and grant agreement files in FACTS and FLAIR.

Prepare the spending plan summary for EOG release of funds.

Review, approve and process project invoices.

Prepare FCO Budget certify forward.

Keeps FCO/Grants & Aids financial records current and accurate.

Assist on other General Service-related work as needed.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree and 2 years of contracts experience. Experience can substitute for the degree on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication. Knowledge of one or more of the following areas: contract management, contract administration .

Ability to evaluate and analyze data relating to records, including documents and information in automated systems and make observations under a wide variety of conditions.

Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to contract management.

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques .

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to prepare reports relating to contracts .

Knowledge of CARS, FACTS and FLAIR a plus.

Proficient in Word, Excel and Adobe software.
