The Difference You Will MakeThe Division of Recreation and Parks is responsible for the promotion of the state park system for the use, enjoyment, and benefit of the people of Florida and its visitors and to contribute to the tourist appeal of Florida. Division employees support the state park system by administering programs that provide resource-based recreation while preserving, interpreting, and restoring natural and cultural resources. Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide assistance and support to the BDC Design Project Manager staff, including, but not limited to:
- Assisting with the planning and design of park infrastructure, including roadways, facilities, drainage structures, etc.
- Assisting with cost estimating; tracking, reporting and communication of project status and other details.
- Assisting with onsite project inspections.
- Preparing and reviewing change orders and other contractual documents for compliance and accuracy.
- Assisting with the review and processing of invoices in accordance with Finance and Accounting procedures.
- Maintaining project files in a neatly organized condition.
- Assisting with design tracking, reporting and other communication requirements.
- Participating in special projects and tasks.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Basic building construction.
