This is a temporary position at least through June 30, 2025

Minimum Qualifications:

Five (5) years of project management experience with a minimum of three (3) years in information technology or two (2) years experience leading accounting and cash management transformations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serves as the project lead and project management liaison for the agency’s transition from Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) to the Planning, Accounting and Ledger Management (PALM) system. Leads various information technology projects, to include special and ad hoc.

Serves as the information technology project management subject matter expert, identifies challenges, recommends solutions, and supports cross-team collaboration.

  • Create and manage internal workplan.
  • Develop business rules, document business analysis of internal and external applications, processes, and procedures.
  • Prepare, review, and provide written reports for management on project status, progress, issues, risks, ongoing and planned assignments.
  • Create at-a-glance timelines.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation.
  • Support planning activities and monitor project deliverables.
  • Develop project schedule and other tools as identified to promote timely and accurate information for the project.
  • Analyze project performance using defined measures. 
  • Works with subject matter experts; identify and develop process changes.
  • Identifies, records, and monitors risks, action items, issues, lessons learned, and decisions.
  • Verify compliance with procedures and rules governing project(s). 
  • Develop training materials and provide training.
  • Review, complete, and distribute required reports (e.g., status reports, and other reports as required).
