Star Metro Management is Hiring a Leasing Agent Near Portland, OR

Are you looking for a creative role in a modern & fast-paced work environment?

Look no further than Star Metro Management! The Star Metro Team manages unique properties in Portland Metro, operating out of our modern office in SE Portland! We offer PTO, Health Insurance, 401(k), Holiday Parties & are surrounded by great lunch spots!

We are currently interviewing motivated applicants for our Leasing Agent position. No direct experience is required, as we can train energetic individuals with Sales & Customer Service experience! As part of our Leasing Team, you will assist prospective residents in finding their perfect home! This includes reaching out to inquiries, scheduling & performing tours, apartment inspections, posting notices and more!

Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing: The Leasing Team supports prospective residents from the first point of contact to their move-in day & beyond, to create a top-notch resident experience!
  • Marketing: Create marketing ads with photos, 3D tours, floor plans, & more!
  • Resident Support: Provide accurate & timely information to our residents.
  • Office Support/Inspections: Answer calls, emails, voicemails, organize rental documents & perform first/final inspections.

Prerequisites

  • Previous Sales & Customer Service experience
  • Dedicated to providing an outstanding resident experience
  • Motivated to learn & grow your leasing knowledge
  • Creative & Self-starting mindset
  • Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced workplace
  • Quality presentation & organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Personable, responsible & punctual
  • Ability to work as part of a team & independently
  • Online software proficiency (Microsoft office/excel, google drive, etc.)

Additional Info/Requirements

  • Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
  • Benefits: PTO, Health Insurance Plans, 401(k) Matching, & Mileage Reimbursement!
  • Local Travel Required: Must have a reliable car, valid insurance, & driver’s license
  • Weekend Availability: We offer 2 consecutive days off
  • Ability to lift 25lbs regularly & use stairs without assistance
  • Time Summary: 50% Leasing, 25% Marketing/Inspections, 20% Office/Resident Support & 5% Team building!
