Star Business Machines Inc is Hiring an Office Assistant Near Stevens, WI

Star Business Machines has an opening for a part-time Office Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The right candidate for this position will be customer-focused, organized, reliable, energetic, professional, and detail oriented. The ability to learn quickly about product offerings and services, and functions within Star Business Machines is essential.

Responsibilities:

Answer the phone and direct calls to appropriate staff

Greet and assist walk-in customers with excellent customer service

Process service calls and dispatch technicians

Track and manage toner supply and other parts orders, communicating effectively with other employees, customers, and vendors

Shipping and receiving orders

Follow-up on customer accounts and late payments

Manage warranty claims and other returns

Assist with other miscellaneous administrative skilled and non-skilled projects as assigned

General cleaning duties

Basic Accounting and Invoicing using accounting software

Take detailed notes and maintain filing systems

Skills & Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Experience with office equipment preferred

Quickbooks and Microsoft Office experience a plus and preferred

High School Diploma or GED Required

Coursework or associate degree in office administration, or related field with moderate experience a plus

Customer service experience-1 year preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
