**Your profile**

* A (4) year engineering degree or a minimum of 5-7 years of direct related experience, and advanced understanding of instrumentation and control systems, PLCs, and ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.

* Previous AGT and/or SGT 100-400 gas turbine controls training/certification/experience on Siemens Controls Systems and commissioning activities including S7, PCS7, Mk II and Allen Bradley ControlLogix systems in power generation or oil and gas industries. Previous product experience in power generation or oil and gas industries

* Excellent and professional communication skills both written and oral. This includes the ability to hold difficult discussions with customers or employees to protect company interests.

* Intermediate commercial knowledge to understand and manage all aspects of the operations business. Previous training / certification and experience on Siemens Energy nameplate machinery. Client facing experience and negotiating skills are a valuable plus. Previous management experience in a similar environment. International experience to understand logistics, visas, and taxation issues.

* Must hold valid drivers license. Either holds or can obtain a passport and TWIC card.

**Your Responsibilities**

* The Field Service Manager for Controls on AGT and SGT product lines reports to the Manager of Technical Resources in the Siemens Energy group, based in Houston, Texas. They are responsible for ensuring the qualification and availability of field-based resources meet the requests involving the installation, commissioning, and servicing of the companys nameplate AGT and SGT 100-400 products from a controls perspective. The position is the direct manager of 12 20 field employees, (Controls Field Service Representatives and Commissioning Engineers). The Gas Turbine Controls FSM serves as the link between our customers, (internal and external) and the rest of the company including but not limited to management, sales, and technical support. Our FSMs maintain the highest levels of professionalism and premier service attitude.

* Maintain the highest level of a zero-harm culture by following and enforcing all company and customer EHS policies and programs.

* Provide day-to-day supervision of the FSR team to ensure the successful outcome of assigned outages. This includes but not limited to aligning employee skill sets to work requirements, confirming the FSR is technically prepared for assignments, and ensuring financial processes for quoting, booking, and invoicing are adhered to.

* Work closely with the Field Service Coordinator(s) to assure day to day workflow continuity. This includes ensuring data input into SAP, Primavera, and other platforms is accurate and up to date. Also responsible for following established protocols for international assignments.

* Coordinate with Field Operations peers to develop accurate short term and long-term forecasting for management and to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained. Provide other reports as requested by management or finance.

* Review all employee submittals for expenses, time, service reports and PTO requests. Also review and approve invoice drafts.

* Foster and maintain superior communication with employees, management, finance, and other business partners. Proactively identify and resolve any risks to the business operation in any form.

* Be available to conduct urgent business outside of normal business hours.
