Description

Stantec Architecture, Inc., Architectural Designer (Multiple Positions), Sacramento, CA. Develop building design in accordance with cost parameters and present the design to relevant stakeholders during early project phases. Develop space planning, block planning, and adjacency diagrams in coordination with the building program. Evaluate and select building systems and materials. Conceptualize a building design from a functional and aesthetic perspective in concert with a client’s requirements, budget, and program. Independently review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFIs, prepare site observation reports, and other contract administration tasks. Prepare presentations and present to clients, prepare meeting minutes, review schedules. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). The salary range is $89,856 - $97,600 per year #GTM

Qualifications

Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Architectural Studies, Planning, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Architectural Studies, Planning, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in the following: Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUP, and Newforma in developing 3D models of buildings; Developing space planning, block planning, and adjacency diagrams; developing floor plans for design and construction; developing construction and design details; and Utilizing Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUP.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 5%.

Telecommuting permitted 3 days a week.
