Description
Electrical Engineer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.; Austin, TX): Design electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and government facilities. Perform electrical calculations. Prepare specifications for the procurement of electrical equipment and materials. Estimate construction costs for project budget preparation. Write reports and compile data for engineering projects. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). #GTM
Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the experience required, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Electrical power distribution system design; Utilizing AutoCad and Revit; EasyPower, SKM, or Visual lighting design software; Equipment specifications including low voltage transformers, motor control, and switchgear; and performing technical work from preliminary planning through design construction and project closeout.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
Travel to various international locations required up to 10%.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
