Your main responsibilities for this role will be to bothengineer and design the most cost-effective, accurate and high quality OSPconstruction work prints while meeting or exceeding all client deadlines. Seebelow for specifics:

• Work invarious customer specific systems to produce a cost-effective engineered designfor construction to place, splice, install and maintain for many years to come.

• Identifyassigned fiber/copper pairs at a strategic access points and design an aerialand or underground path from point A to point B.

• Identifythe necessary requirements to successfully attach fiber/copper cables to apoles as well as place cables in the underground environments.

• Engineerin the public right of way and on private property avoiding conflict withexisting facilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.

• Bachelor’sdegree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics preferred.

• Understandingof outside plant engineering and construction techniques.

• Work withOutside Plant Engineering in the following systems: AutoCAD, and orclient-specific GIS software.

• Deepunderstanding of Outside Plant Engineering as it pertains to the architectureof various FTTX networks.

• Fieldexperienced preferable, but not required.

• Experienceusing AutoCAD and most Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel)

• Deadlinedriven, self-motivated, and technically savvy.

• Excellentverbal and written interpersonal communication skills.

• Superiortime management.

• Strongattention to detail.

• Abilityto be flexible, take direction with ease, including changes to schedule andworkflow priorities.

• Criticalthinking skills; make assessments and provide solutions to problems.
