Position Summary:

The Brand Ambassador will work in partnership with the sales team to promote and raise awareness for the Standard Wellness brand in a positive and professional manner at dispensaries or other events within the cannabis industry. The position will require visiting locations where Standard Wellness product is sold and conduct product knowledge clinics and host patient education days. The brand ambassador will develop strong relationships with dispensary staff.

The ideal candidate will be working the northern part of the state from Cleveland to Columbus. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers by providing information on product use and benefits, recommending products based on customer needs, and offering ongoing support
• Manage and coordinate events at retail locations or other promotional events
• Conduct product knowledge clinics for patients and dispensary staff
• Set up and arrange in store displays to attract attention
• Transport, assemble, and dissemble materials used in presentations
• Train dispensary staff on Standard Wellness products to ensure proper consumption and dosing
• Work with dispensaries to improve product exposure and shelf positioning
• Implement quarterly meetings with each dispensary to update all packaging, push for better product placement, and expand our in-store branding footprint
• Represent SW at Ohio industry events
• Collaborate with the marketing and graphics team on in-store displays, promotional materials, and branded items for dispensary promos
• Understand all products, marketing materials, and educational materials and be able to effectively communicate these things to bud tenders and patients alike
• Report back to sales and marketing teams regarding feedback from patients and dispensary staff on products and/or materials
• Distribute promotional literature to customers
• Comply with all state sales & marketing regulations
• Maintain professional knowledge of all Standard Wellness brands and product offerings
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the Division of Cannabis Control
• Minimum 2 years’ promotional experience
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of, or experience working in the cannabis industry
• Must have flexible scheduling (Mon-Fri, Weekend Availability)
• Must have a professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor
• Must be confident and outgoing with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without an accommodation
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
