Staffing and Performance Manager

·Stamm Media (www.stammmedia.com) is a nationwide event technology company for trade shows, corporate meetings, and event activations. This position is in-office (with flexibility) and located near Downtown Milwaukee.

You will be at the forefront of continuing to build and sustain a collaborative, high-performance culture. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that attract, retain, and empower top talent. This role goes beyond traditional human resources, HR; it's about finding great team members, helping them succeed, and creating an environment where every team member feels inspired, valued, and excited to contribute their best work.

Responsibilities: 

·Talent Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent. Streamline onboarding processes to ensure a smooth integration for new hires.Prepare job descriptions, posting and maintaining job ads on the Stamm Careers page, and manage the hiring process. With the help of the marketing department, attend and develop material for career fairs. Maintain Stamm’s branding and profiles on Glassdoor.

·Culture Champion: Lead initiatives that cultivate a positive and engaging workplace culture, fostering creativity, and collaboration.

·Employee Development: Collaborate with department heads to design and implement professional development programs. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.Act as an advisor and coach to our team, including strategic career development and performance growth.

·Employee Engagement: Develop and execute programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being. Organize team-building events, workshops, and activities.

·Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance to managers on goal-setting, feedback, and performance improvement.

·HR Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and values. Stay updated on industry best practices.

·Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Develop and update HR policies as needed.

·Internal Communications, Processes & Procedures: Continually develop and maintain employee training programs, handbook materials, disciplinary/grievance policies, onboarding and offboarding procedures, and more.

·HRIS Implementation: Maintain the company HRIS software.

·Benefits Administration: Analyze the existing benefits program to continually provide an appealing and competitive package.

Qualifications:

·3 years of experience in high performing cultures desired.

·Proven experience in a related or similar role

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·Demonstrated ability to drive cultural initiatives and foster employee engagement.

·Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR practices with organizational goals.

·Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.

·Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or related field

·Bonus points for Master’s Degree or MBA
