STAline Waterworks Inc is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

STAline Waterworks is a Charlotte, NC based distributor of waterworks products and related items to contractors and municipalities. Our focus is on building strong and trusted relationships with our customers by delivering superior service, quality products and dynamic solutions. STAline offers a professional, friendly and safe working environment, along with a comprehensive benefit package and competitive pay based on skillset, experience, and motivation.

We are currently seeking an experienced industry professional to fill an immediate opening on our Inside Sales team. Ideal candidates value customer relationships, prioritize customer success and support, and are ready to play an active role in growing our business.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in an Inside Sales role
  • Extensive knowledge about waterworks products strongly preferred
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Meticulous focus on details and accuracy
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers by sharing product and application knowledge to build a strong and trustworthy relationship.
  • Provide product pricing and availability over the phone, in person, or through various electronic technologies.
  • Provide suggestions and options to customers while using detailed knowledge of products and their intended application.
  • Generate quotes for customers based on knowledge of customer, market, and margin direction provided by management.
  • Follow-up on open quotes and leads using customer relationship management software and tools.
  • Solicit new business from existing customers and prospects.
  • Expedite customer orders and perform all customer service duties.
  • Contact suppliers for product information and work closely with them to support customer needs.
  • Partner with and support the Outside Sales and Branch Operations teams as needed.
