Software Procurement Coordinator (Vendor Management, Approvals) (Hybrid, Harrisburg, PA)

We are looking for a Software Procurement Coordinator for our client, a Commonwealth of PA entity. The focus of this role is to help manage the software procurement approval process and to facilitate and process the software requests received by the client's teams ensuring that there is seamless communication with all stakeholders throughout the process.

This is a 37.5-hour/week, long-term project with current funding approved until 06/30/2024 with 12-month extensions likely. This position is a mostly remote role supporting our client's office in Harrisburg, PA. The selected candidate must be able to report on-site on the first day of the project to inventory equipment and occasionally as required by the client. The preferred candidates must reside within a commutable distance of the offices in Harrisburg, PA.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the client's teams to document and process software procurement requests.

• Gather, prepare and submit information and documentation to the various approvers throughout the process.

• Meet with a diverse group of stakeholders to help ensure timely processing and approval of software requests.

• Review, interpret, and provide input on software license agreements and other software-related contractual documents.

• Research whether there is already current software in use that would meet the documented business needs of the clients.

• Provide general guidance to our customers on the software procurement approval process and its underlying policies and processes.

• Coordinate overall tracking and managing of the backlog of requests.

• Facilitate any requests for additional information that may arise during the approval process.

• Serve as an overall point of contact and subject matter expert for both client's teams for the software procurement approval process.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in managing/coordinating software procurement including approvals and working with vendors and clients

• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure

• Bachelor's Degree
