Stage 4 Solutions Inc is Hiring a Field Construction Manager (Salem, OR) Near Salem, OR
This is an 18-month contract role initially, 40 hours/week, in Salem, OR. Expected candidate to be available to spend 50% of the time in the field.
This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the appropriateness of the site for deployment,
- Recommend or select suppliers, and identify and validate scope items with suppliers, as needed.
- Determine and manage the distribution of the equipment and materials necessary for the deployment.
- Plan and schedule the installation and construction of the job/site, including setting project schedules, forecasting, and sequencing of work.
- Monitor progress and milestones against schedule, including revising and updating project schedules.
- Act as the representative for onsite field review/approval of supplier deliverables, customer visits, government/customer inspections, and safety issues.
- Conduct audits during the build and through construction completion; ensuring completion by the client’s and customer's standards.
- Ability to determine site feasibility, as well as site design consulting as needed.
- Evaluate all punch list items and determine if construction is complete and acceptable.
- Ability to interface with customers, property owners, and other internal and external ancillary personnel as needed.
- Monitor and manage budget, and coordinate with and support Customer Project Managers.
- Basic knowledge of contracts (leasing, vendor-facing, customer-facing) and budgets.
- Understanding of EHS statutory requirements impacting Ericsson in the local market.
- Completion of approved OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 30-hour course for the telecommunications industry.
- Delegate administrative tasks to support organizations, that provide support to the FCM.
- The FCM partners with/supports the Senior Construction Manager on complex jobs/sites, as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work/ industry experience.
- Basic technology or related trade coursework completion. Specifically - Radio Access Network Technology or experience working with it.
- Experience with providing design solutions and guidance of order of operations.
- Direct knowledge of general construction processes and procedures.
- Experience in managing and directing general contractors, construction scope estimation, etc. (Civils, Ground, L&A, Backhaul, Maintenance Work).
- Knowledge of and ability to enforce Ericsson and customer construction and quality standards.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting practices and techniques.
- Understanding of site acquisition, zoning, permitting, landlord negotiations, leasing laws, jurisdictional requirements, and environmental compliance.
- Previous experience working on the Ericsson equipment portfolio is a plus.
- Field experience in managing general contractors, construction scope estimation, etc., is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous AT&T construction management experience is strongly preferred.

Pay Rate: $37/hr. - $40/hr.
