Stage 3 Separation is Hiring a Safety leader Near Midland, TX

The Safety Field Leader oversees and supports multiple rig locations within the region where Stage 3 Separation works. The primary responsibilities include conducting rig inspections, coordinating HSE support for Area Managers and Field Leader groups within the region to provide rig support.

Additionally, the Safety Field Leader works with field personnel to conduct mentoring activities, identifying areas for HSE improvement and assisting with inspections of equipment while onsite.

They will also assist with various training programs. The Safety Field Leader is responsible for coaching, teaching, and training employees on general HSE practices within their assigned area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Build relationships with Customers to ensure HSE needs are met consistently, and requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct onsite rig inspections including conducting follow-up reviews to ensure the safety of personnel and proper maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and ensure that the day-to-day HSE activities and duties are performed by Personnel onsite.
  • Assist and conduct Employee Safety Orientation training, including Heavy Equipment Training as needed.
  • Conduct incident investigations and provide support to coordinate appropriate corrective actions based upon findings.
  • Communicate and follow-up on day-day issues to ensure that Field Leaders and Technicians understand and comply with all HSE related policies and procedures.
  • Provide additional HSE support and leadership as necessary to ensure personnel safety, efficiency in all operations, and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, internal and external customers, and third parties verbally and in writing.
  • Use a computer to write and read emails and develop reporting for region to track progress to established goals.
  • Work independently and prioritize tasks based on operational needs.
  • Make quick and sound decisions supporting all operations while maintaining a continuously safe working environment.
  • Must exhibit a professional approach to others in a tactful manner and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
  • Accepts responsibility for own actions.
  • Follows through on commitments.
  • Knowledge of Company and Regulatory Guidelines.

Requirements

  • Have a thorough knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental principles and best practices.
  • Have a full comprehension of OSHA regulations.
  • Handle confidential documents and information and exercise discretion.
  • Perform HSE Audits for compliance.
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.
  • Familiarity with Federal, State and Local laws.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Experience with drilling or pipeline preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to present safety messages and training to groups of people.
  • Working knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Must be able to meet requirements of Company’s Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy.
  • Planning and organizational skills in handling multiple projects.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Minimum Required Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience :

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must have a valid State driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must have prior work experience in General Industry or Oil Field safety preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
