Financial Planning Analyst
Position Summary
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of direct-to-consumer eCommerce business processes and best practices, to inform decision-making processes such as analyzing financial data, forecasting sales trends, developing budgets, monitoring financial performance, providing insights to optimize profitability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial strategies aligned with business goals. Additionally, the role will involve creating financial reports, conducting variance analysis, and supporting decision-making processes within the eCommerce org.
a. Trade-in recovery forecasting (weekly, monthly, and quarterly)
b. Monthly reconciliation of plan vs. actuals for TI contra
c. Care revenue accounting
d. Other contra revenue forecasting
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of forecast modeling and basic P&L management.
Prior experience in a consumer electronics manufacturer and/or retailer is preferred but not required.
Ability to navigate the Samsung organization to gather information, elicit feedback, gain buy-in, and engage others in B2C activities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, one must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities.
3 - 5 years of equivalent work experience required.
College degree required.
Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office Suite as well as Tableau preferred.
