Position Summary: This role is responsible for, but not limited to, cash applications, customer account collection efforts and provide administrative support as needed.

• Posts customer payments daily by recording checks, ACH payments, wires and process credit card transactions, for multiple companies within our organization.
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments and customers. Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering corrections to customer accounts.
• Resolves customer accounts by examining payment plans and payment history to determine if collection letters need to be sent out on delinquent accounts.
• Summarizes receivables by maintaining customer accounts, verifying totals and preparing reports.
• Maintains a current Accounts Receivable Aging Report in Teams Finance folder in preparation for weekly reviews with appropriate notes. Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, phone numbers, email contacts. Verify new customers credit references and establish credit limits with managers.
• Assists other finance areas such as period closing, billing, accounts payable data entry when necessary.
• Collect on accounts by sending invoice reminders, monthly statements and communication with customers via phone, email, fax, or mail
• Make daily collection calls; conduct account research and analysis Active involvement in Plant Safety activities
• Other duties as assigned.
