Staffing Matches is Hiring a District Service Manager, Midwest Near Chicago, IL

We are looking for a District Service Manager in the forklift industry! In this role, you'll support dealer with their calls and emails. You'll help answer technical questions, as well as questions about parts, service, and warranty.
You'll travel to dealer or customer locations to provide support. You'll also do training as needed. Lastly, you'll ensure dealership parts and service operations are organized and equipped to provide efficient service. 
This position has up to 2 weeks of travel a month across the region which includes IL, WI, IN, OH, PA, NY, and NJ. This job is on a great team with a lot of longevity!
We prefer a candidate that can work hybrid in the Chicago office. However we are open to remote candidates in any of the states above. 

Responsibilities

  • Call and email with dealers on technical issues
  • Work with dealer personnel to improve any weak areas 
  • Will act as representative to the administration of warranty and policies and decisions with management guidelines
  • Responsible for improvement of dealer's parts and service department's efficiency and profitability
  • Responsible for orientation training of new dealers, policies, procedures, and implementation
  • Ensures dealer warranty administration with respect to policy and procedure
  • Provide technical assistance to dealers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 5 years equivalent work experience in the Forklift/Material Handling Industry or heavy equipment industry as a service engineer/manager, technician, trainer, or technical support role
  • Able to travel up to 2 weeks a month 
  • Comfortable using Windows 10, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
