StaffBright has a great Program Manager opportunity near the Belleville, MI area. We are seeking individuals with 5 years of relevant experience within the automotive industry.

What You Will Be Doing

• The Program Manager will lead all program activities to ensure the flawless launch or product modification in compliance with the client and customer performance objectives (Design, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Timing).
• Ensure successful project launch/implementation
• Ensures project objectives are met in terms of design, quality, cost, delivery, and timing
• Checks and validates project team members activities and proposes timing scenario to achieve milestones
• Solves all project issues with the support of functions
• Develops project plans that include Work Breakdown structure (WBS) / Milestones in Microsoft Project
• Escalates to the functional manager (as necessary) to obtain support for the resolution of project issues
• Tracks and ensures the delivery of prototype orders to the customer
• Monitors program financials and verifies financials meet/exceed program metrics (i.e. Profit margin, tooling, ED&T,etc.)
• Actively lead a cross-functional project team
• Effectively manage communication on project development progress
• Reports APQP program status and participates in program gate reviews
• Ensures all cost reduction and quality improvement ideas are tracked and implemented

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:

• 5-10 years of program management experience in the automotive industry
• Experience working on product launches
• Experience interacting with Ford
