```Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Fabricate parts as needed using welding and fabrication techniques
- Supervise contractors when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
