St. Louis Kolache is a small business in Saint Peters, MO. We are professional, inclusive, fun and our goal is to grow. Saint Louis Kolache in Cottleville is a bakery and cafe that specializes in traditional Czech pastries known as kolaches.
Our work environment includes:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or as instructed by the chef.
- Assist in cooking and baking tasks, such as grilling, frying, and baking.
- Portion and plate food items for service.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
