St. George Village is Hiring a Busser Near Roswell, GA

General Purpose

  • Under the direct supervision of the dining room manager, or appointed supervisor, the busser / food Runner is responsible for
  • memorizing all tables and areas. Is primarily responsible for the delivery of food, cleaning and proper resetting all areas. They
  • are also responsible for the general cleaning and sanitation of the entire facilities’ food service areas including all food preparation
  • equipment and service utensils.

  • Customer Service: Responsible for effectively meeting customer needs by caring out established customer service / guest
  • relations protocols of SGV. Meeting the goal of having a very high degree of responsive and friendly customer service for all
  • customers and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction.
  • Safety: Follows departmental safety practices. Works safely and contributes to a safe work environment for co-workers. Reports
  • unsafe conditions and corrects in a timely manner.

  • Essential Duties
  • Serves and busses meals and beverages from dining areas.
  • Is knowledgeable of menu and professional at all times while working.
  • Perform pre-opening and closing checklist duties as assigned by the dining room manager, assistant dining room manager, or
  • team leader.
  • Set up, break down and properly clean all equipment pertaining to food service areas.
  • Alerts a supervisor of any concerns or problems pertaining to the customer.
  • Responsible for bussing a wide variety dish including fish, steak, ham, pork, assorted vegetables, desserts and beverages of choice, including alcohol that resident may bring into the dining areas. May be assigned special duties other than what is indicated on this job description, such as filling in as wait staff, or dishwasher if needed and ensures all food preparation and assembly is done in accordance with established procedures. Sets up, serves, and breaks down dining rooms and special functions. Maintains all floors and designated service areas by sweeping, mopping, bisseling /vacuuming and scrubbing as required. Assures all utensils and equipment used in food preparation and service are sanitized and cleaned properly prior to returning to proper storage or dining areas. (May Include washing and prepping or cooking food). Keeps all work areas (including but not limited to) service areas and chemical storage area in a clean and organized fashion. Remove all trash from dietary service areas to dumpster area and ensure proper disposal of trash after having been trained how to properly operate dumpster unit. Follows set guidelines that pertain to all proper cleaning, sanitizing and storage of service utensils. · Maintains a clean and sanitized work area in a clean as you go fashion. · Maintains all floors and dietary areas by sweeping, mopping, bisseling / vacuuming and scrubbing as required. · Assures all utensils used in food preparation and service are sanitized and cleaned properly prior to returning to proper storage or dining areas. · Thoroughly cleans work area and all equipment used in food preparation and handling. In accordance with established procedures. · Keeps all work areas including but no limited to service areas and chemical storage area in a clean and organized fashion. Complies with SGV standard of conduct and job related behavior. · Attends required courses, training and production meetings when scheduled. · Complies with annual employee health assessment. · Maintains acceptable attendance standards. · Complies with hazardous material management procedures and follows safety and sanitation rules and practices and becomes familiar with HACCAP program. · Participates in disaster relief program. · Operates fire extinguisher, kitchen equipment and office equipment correctly and safely. · Communicates and provides friendly service to residents and guests and cooperates with staff of other departments. · Able to work well independently given proper direction and cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties. Cooperates and coordinates work activities with co-worker to ensure a smooth running department. · Must take necessary precautions and follow correct procedures for lifting and bending also displaying proper knife handling and knowledge of proper equipment use. Performs other duties as assigned.
