Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry Departments to ensure that the highest standard of safety, sanitation, and repairs in the care center and grounds are maintained at all times. Also, is responsible for establishing staffing schedules for the maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry departments, for hiring and supervising these staff members, and for ordering supplies and coding bills within the budget.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of two years’ supervisory experience, in a healthcare related position preferred.
- Training in maintenance or building codes is preferred, must be licensed to operate a boiler or working towards achieving licensure.
