Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical settings and possess expertise in areas such as geriatrics and long term care.
Duties:
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff
- Oversee patient care plans and ensure their implementation
- Conduct patient assessments and administer medications
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments
- Assist with specimen collection processing
- Perform phlebotomy procedures when necessary
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license with Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Experience in geriatrics care, including long term care
- Proficiency in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to handle infectious disease cases effectively
- Familiarity with specimen collection processing techniques
