St. Anne Institue is currently hiring a full-time cook for our Agency.
The starting hourly rate is $16.00 dependent upon experience.
The responsibilities are as follows:
Assist the Coordinator with the daily organization and operation of the agency Food Services Department. Assume responsibilities of Coordinator in his/her absence.
Prepare all food/meals served at SAI according to the Dietary Services menu and dietary/nutrition guidelines established by NYSED and all other state and federal oversight and regulatory bodies.
Assume responsibilities of the Coordinator and/or second cook in his/her absence.
Maintain general appearance, cleanliness and safety of kitchen operations in accordance with health and safety codes and regulations.
Facilitate weekly dairy and bread orders
Participate in all in-services and trainings as required/scheduled, including 16 hours towards the Professional Standards training requirements
Abide by the NYS Justice Center and the SAI Codes of Conduct/Ethics
Perform any duty assigned/required by the Dietary Services Coordinator or Program Administrator for Support Services.
