Restaurant District Manager

(Local Candidates Only - In Rhode Island)

Position Purpose:

  • Contributes to the company's success by providing operational expertise, coaching, and supporting General Managers, overseeing the performance of multiple restaurants.
  • Responsible for developing extraordinary General Managers, creating great customer experiences, impacting growth across the units in Rhode Island.
  • The District Manager must also ensure achievement of restaurant sales and budgetary targets; establish and maintain operational standards in compliance with federal, state and local laws, including food quality, food safety, and restaurant safety; preserve brand integrity of restaurant facilities; along with establishing and maintaining performance standards.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • In partnership with leaders, leverages operational expertise and coaching for successful implementation of key initiatives and programs, and continuous improvement of employee capability, customer experience and business results.
  • Works closely with Director of Operations and support team, coaches, kitchen manager to monitor priorities and initiatives to optimize performance relative to sales, profitability and the customer and employee experience.
  • Ensures full implementation of new roll-outs, programs and applicable training.
  • Oversee new unit openings and restaurant remodelings in the Kansas City area.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • The District Manager typically oversees up to 4-7 restaurants with direct and non-exempt reports.
  • This position has full authority to hire, develop, appraise, motivate, promote, reward, discipline, transfer, and approve time and attendance of restaurant employees.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, BA/BS degree preferred; 3-5 plus years prior General Management experience required;
  • 3 plus years Quick Service QSR, Fast Casual experience as an Area Leader, Restaurant Director, Supervisor or Area Manager preferred
  • Track record of success in leading, managing, coaching and developing high performance teams.
