Job Description Overview: Overview: The Client Services Representative is responsible for assisting Client Account Managers with client communications, client issue resolution, testing and preparation of client software releases, writing of functional specifications, and system defect processing. The successful candidate will demonstrate willingness to be a team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and a have willingness to travel within the United States on an as-needed basis that is not expected to exceed 5% of total time and to not extend for more than 5 days per occurrence. Responsibilities: - Address client questions and requests on a timely basis - Provide functional support in clients' use of the system, coordinate technical support as needed - Write and unit test functional specifications for system enhancements - Defect processing, i.e. logging, recreation, unit testing of fixes - Assist Account Manager in planning, coordinating, and scheduling software releases - Liaise with other teams such as Development or Technical Services as needed to troubleshoot and resolve issues Required Skills & Experience: - Bachelor's degree, Finance or Accounting related preferred - 3-5 years’ professional experience - Experience in capital markets; settlements or other back office experience is desirable - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrates effective time management skills and attention to detail - Candidates must be willing to learn and demonstrate high self-motivation #LI-TC1 Unless explicitly requested or approached by SS&C Technologies, Inc. or any of its affiliated companies, the company will not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
