Job Description What You Will Get To Do: Manage the database backup and restore process for QA environments. Manage the deployment process: Prepare installation packages for release. Run test deployment for every major release (UAT and PROD). Deploy / upgrade builds. Verify that UAT and PROD deployments are successful and troubleshoot as needed. Modify triggers for nightly deployment. Requests new builds and remove old ones. Manage tenants in QA environments. Work with IT as needed for Production and UAT environments. Monitor check-ins / GitHub and troubleshoot as needed. Run SQL stored procedures or scripts as needed. Periodically need to be on call outside normal business hours. What You Will Bring: 1 - 2 years of experience in a technical support role. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science / Math or a related subject. Must have SQL experience (MS SQL Preferred). Advanced level of proficiency in PowerShell/Python/Bash or an equivalent scripting language. Must be able to organize and prioritize requests. Must be detail oriented, alert, responsive, and amenable to training. Strong communication skills, the candidate must be clear and concise. A focus on client service. This role is not directly client facing, but everything we do ultimately touches our clients. Experience with creating process documentation / drafting SOPs. Basic working knowledge of source control systems, preferably Git Deployment and QA experience a plus. Thank you for your interest in SS&C!
