Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with organizational abilities to manage tasks efficiently. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with billing standards and regulations. A solid understanding of billing processes, financial analysis, and relevant software systems is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Invoicing and Billing:

  • Issue invoices and prepare billing statements for clients.
  • Track, receive, and sort incoming payments.
  • Process payments by updating clients’ accounts.

• Accounts Receivable Management:

  • Manage and update accounts receivable databases.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing.
  • Assist with collections and address customer inquiries regarding billing matters.

• Coordination and Communication:

  • Coordinate with service technicians, project managers, and clients.
  • Communicate billing details to clients and address any discrepancies.

• Administrative Tasks:

  • Handle essential clerical duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and quoting.
  • Maintain accurate records of billing transactions.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Order parts, track jobs, and maintain accounts.
  • Familiarity with cloud applications and invoicing software.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide high-level customer service.
  • Troubleshoot billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 or more years of experience in HVAC/Plumbing Accounting Service Industry, including service invoicing/billing.
• Education: Relevant education or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in billing procedures and collection techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Comfortable working with invoicing and billing software.

Pay:

Hourly $18-25/hour. DOE
