Spyderco is looking for a dedicated and dynamic person to lead the Sales team, increasing product sales worldwide while working with company ownership and senior leadership to manage, refine, and implement sales objectives in line with the company vision and culture. This position works closely with multiple departments to implement and maintain strong business relationships and look for new opportunities for growth.

The Inside Sales Manager responsibilities include:

• Working with Senior Management to coordinate all sales activities and programs in multiple B2B channels and markets that include General Outdoors & Sporting Goods, Cutlery, Military, Law Enforcement & Emergency personnel, Marine, Culinary, etc.

• Prepare Monthly and Annual Sales Goals based on Finance Budget provided by Senior Leadership Team.

• Oversee, coach and lead sales team in meeting sales goals, cultivating relationships, and sourcing new avenues for sales opportunities as well as new products and programs.

• Lead and develop the Sales Team for optimal performance, teamwork, and overall departmental cooperation.

• Maintain professional relationships with Distributor and Dealer network, providing insight, quality customer service, and education regarding products, programs, and policies, negotiating where appropriate.

• Coordinate and attend as necessary all sales activities including Trade and Consumer Shows, Customer Visits and Special Events.

• Work with Shipping team to fairly and efficiently allocate and ship all products as they become available.

• Work with Purchasing & Marketing Team to create and oversee sales promotions and campaigns.

• Work with IT Team to develop reporting for tracking and analyzing sales data based on key metrics to assist with decision making.

Must be a strong leader with the ability to be flexible and with the ability to operate with an open mind for an understanding of a wide variety of sales strategies and markets.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or 3-5 years of experience in Sales and Management

• Outdoor Industry Experience Preferred

• Knife Knowledge Preferred

• Some Travel required (domestic & occasional International)
