Seeking a Sr. graphics designer to support the Army Futures Command Communication Team in Austin, TX.

The Graphics designer is responsible for design, layout, graphics creation, management and coordination of content on all Army Futures Command digital platforms as well as websites, online platforms, briefings, reports, displays, brochures and digital media.

This position is contingent upon award. 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Secret level security clearance is required as well as US Citizenship.

Responsibilities to include:

• Develop graphics for materials to be including on information pages, pamphlets, brochures, photos, videos, exhibits and exhibitions.
• Develop and produce a wide variety of customized communication media products to include social and digital media infographics, video and animations that clearly and concisely articulate and illustrate AFC information and messages.
• Develop and produce a wide variety of customized communication media products to include social and digital media infographics, video and animations that clearly and concisely articulate AFC messages as well as design, create, reformat, and produce the AFC Pop-Up exhibits (banners) that highlight and support themes and messages from the Army’s Modernization Priorities.
• Have the skills to respond to short notice requirements for large format products for quick delivery and skills to research, manage maintain industry standard databases for quick creative concept and design new products.
• Experience with numerous media types.
• Adhere to company's AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills:

AA/AS from an accredited college or technical school.

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant graphic designer experience, including experience working with numerous media types.

• Skilled in strategic engagement to work on a team supporting various online communication campaigns and programs.
• Must demonstrate the ability to balance day-to-day demands for missions requiring immediate attention with the need to achieve long-term organizational goals.
• Proven track record of leading graphics and web design projects and successfully meeting goals on time.
• The ability to prepare and deliver briefings and status reports, consultative skill.
• Experience in corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, communication outreach and planning, to include knowledge of branding and social media.
• Experience in supporting both traditional and non-traditional media, development and use of exhibits and collateral materials (banner stands, posters, brochures, etc.).
• Able to work effectively in a small team environment.
• Skilled in strategic engagement, outreach planning, and working with a wide variety of stakeholders and audiences.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Bridge, Dreamweaver, Flash, Media Encoder, Illustrator, Acrobat), Visio, InDesign, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
