About the Role:
The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end processes related to vendor payments and expense reimbursement, utilizing platforms such as Coupa, Concur, and SAP. Additionally, the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will assist with financial close activities related to Accounts Payable. This role will work cross functionally across the organization to ensure the processing and issuing of all disbursements in a timely manner, with an interest in driving efficiencies within the financial operations disbursement and reporting process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accounts payable process and ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices.
  • Maintain the Accounts Payable Mailbox by ensuring prompt responses to all inquiries.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end processes for accounts payable.
  • Prepare IRS 1099s for all eligible vendors and file appropriate reports with the IRS.
  • Manage the end-to-end travel and expense reimbursement process with Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Provide guidance to employees on expense report submission through Concur and resolve reimbursement-related queries.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense functions.
  • Implement efficiency measures to enhance accuracy, reduce processing times, and minimize errors.
  • Ensure strict compliance with SOX, regulatory requirements and internal policies in Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense activities.
  • Generate and analyze reports using Concur, Coupa and SAP to track key performance indicators and financial metrics.
  • Assist the Accounting, and FP&A teams with monthly closing tasks and financial reporting.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to travel and expense policies.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • SAP S4/HANA, Coupa and SAP Concur experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to independently research issues related to the Accounts Payable cycle.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors effectively and clearly in a remote hybrid work environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally including overnight stay driven by business need.

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $64,550.00 - $84,750.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
