National Adjunctive Therapies Manager (NATM) assists the Clinical Services Team in developing programs to provide appropriate therapeutic activities to patients in facility programs, both inpatient and outpatient. NATM assures development of high-quality, evidence-based adjunctive therapy programming, leading implementation and providing education and training to existing and new hospitals. NATM supervises Lifepoint Behavioral Health’s Adjunctive Therapists (AT) in planning, organization and directing of medically approved adjunctive programming, including such activities as sports, dramatics, games, music, yoga, pet therapy, arts and crafts to assist patients to develop interpersonal relationships, increase motivation, to socialize effectively, and to develop confidence needed to participate in group activities. NATM regulates the content of the programs so that they can be implemented in accordance with patients’ capabilities, needs, interests and treatment plan. NATM helps to determine the scheduling and management of AT staff at the hospital level. Develops and implements procedures to ensure hospitals meet documentation and all regulatory and other standards. NATM will focus on elevating patient engagement and satisfaction through adjunctive programming. NATM will assist in recruitment strategies for attracting CTRS candidates to the organization.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute in Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or similar field and/or relevant licensure or certification per state of practice guidelines.

License:  Current unencumbered certification/license/registration.

Additional Requirements: Travel to support hospital sites when needed. Travel to new hospital openings.
