As a Unit Chaplain, you will be a member of the clinical services team at Columbus Springs. Our team drives a “Clinical First” attitude to help fulfill our mission of “Changing People’s Lives®”. Our Unit Chaplain provide direct spiritual support and/or counsel to patients in keeping with patient beliefs.

Position Details

• Provide direct spiritual support and/or counsel to patients in keeping with patients beliefs.
• Run groups on the unit to enhance the spiritual needs and concerns of patients experiencing mental health and/or chemical dependency concerns while being on the inpatient units.
• This is a part-time position, working 12 hours per week.

Qualifications

Experience:  Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred

Education: Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology or appropriate certification in hospital or pastoral ministry.
