Job Summary: As a Retail Associate, you will be responsible for providing personalized interactions with SLC ® customers on our retail floor, delivering excellent service, and assisting with store inventory and merchandising of products. In our unique retail environment, you'll be challenged to make decisions that don't always have black and white answers. Prior retail experience is a plus, but we will provide training to bring you up to speed. This full-time, non-exempt position offers a variety of benefits, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to grow their careers in the retail industry.

Position Details:

  • Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
  • Schedule: Monday through Saturday, with mandatory Saturdays and 2 days off per week
  • Average Hours: 40-45 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $14.50 per hour
  • Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Paid Appointment Time, Simple IRA, HSA, Paid time off, Wholesale pricing

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide personalized interactions with SLC ® customers on the retail floor.
  2. Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a meaningful connection between each customer and the SLC ® brand.
  3. Assist with maintaining store inventory and merchandising of products.
  4. Embrace challenges and make decisions in situations that don't always have black and white answers.
  5. Contribute to our light-hearted and fun work culture, making every day enjoyable for both customers and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  1. Passion for helping people and delivering outstanding customer service.
  2. Prior retail experience is a plus, but not required.
  3. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory Saturdays.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
  5. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a unique retail environment.
