Job Description

About Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club

A revolutionized dining, drinking and entertainment establishment across from Vivint Arena in Fountain Plaza at The Gateway. Owned and operated by Las Vegas-headquartered Carver Road Hospitality, the complex features a restaurant, three bars, 400-square-feet of LED screens, private karaoke and golf simulator rooms, a central nightclub, and a cocktail lounge with bowling. The restaurant serves elevated American fare, craft cocktails and an extensive beer selection. It is a 21 licensed venue.

Job Summary:

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for assisting the marketing team in developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage the target audience, and drive user engagement across various social media platforms. This role involves creating and curating content, scheduling posts, monitoring social media channels, analyzing performance metrics, and maintaining a consistent brand voice and image online.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create original, engaging, and visually appealing content (text, images, videos) for social media platforms.
  • Curate relevant and timely content from reputable sources to share with the audience.
  • Adapt content to suit the nuances and best practices of each social media platform.
  • Develop a content calendar outlining the schedule for posts, campaigns, and promotions.
  • Schedule and publish posts across various social media channels using social media management tools.
  • Ensure consistency in posting frequency and timing to maintain audience engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster a positive online community by engaging with followers, addressing concerns, and encouraging discussions.
  • Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, click-through rates, etc.) for social media campaigns and content.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing performance insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • Monitor the progress of campaigns and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and platform updates.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all social media content.
  • Ensure that all content adheres to brand guidelines and is reflective of the company's values and messaging.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms for brands, organizations, or individuals.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and their respective best practices.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
