Compensation Analyst

Spireon, Inc. has an immediate opening for a natural born communicator with a keen sense of business processes that likes to demonstrate how technology, data and information can positively impact business results. As a key member of the organization, the Compensation Analyst will work closely with the VP of Finance to provide day-to-day maintenance, analysis and support of the company’s various revenue-related payments to internal and external parties.The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic personality and great interpersonal skills while exhibiting excellent communication and time management; the ability to multi-task and a strong attention to detail are a must to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Variable Incentive Sales Plan administration across the entire Sales organization including but not limited to:
    • Collaborating with Sales Leaders and Sales Operations within each Sales vertical to align on proper plan components to drive desirable Sales behavior
    • Distribution of plan documents for signature and collection/organization of signed documents
    • Providing sales with monthly, quarterly and annual commission statements – addressing questions in a one-on-one setting when necessary
    • Calculation of monthly, quarterly and annual payments in accordance with the plans set forth
    • Aligning with Sales, Sales Operations, Human Resources, Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees with Variable Incentive Plans
  • Partner with Finance and Sales Operations to provide an updated commissions forecast for each Sales vertical as part of the regularly scheduled budgeting/forecasting process
  • Conduct ongoing analysis on attainment at individual and organizational levels to verify that assigned plans are driving the desired behaviors within the sales teams
  • Calculation and coordination of revenue-related payments to third parties such as Agents, Resellers and Dealers
  • Perform ad hoc analysis upon request to assist in the creation, measurement and payout of necessary SPIFFs to further incentivize the Sales teams

Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM & NetSuite ERP a plus
  • Experience with advanced financial modeling using inputs provided
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other relational database/data visualization tools a plus
  • Proven ability to work and interact in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with requirement to multi-task
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in developing, building and delivering quantitative metrics in a business context preferred

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance, accounting or compensation analyst role

  • This position requires no travel
