Business Development Lead - Medical Practice

Spine Medicine and Surgery is a leading independent spine care practice dedicated to delivering exceptional medical services to our community. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Lead to lead the expansion and growth of our practice. This pivotal role involves overseeing various business-related functions, including marketing, brand development, operations, facilities management, revenue cycle management, and more.

Position Overview: As the Business Development Lead, you will play a key role in the strategic growth and success of our medical practice. The ideal candidate will have an MBA, a strong background in healthcare operations, and experience in managing and expanding private practices. This position requires a dynamic leader with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business success in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand the practice and increase profitability.
  • Oversee marketing and brand development initiatives to enhance the practice's visibility and attract new patients.
  • Manage and optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency and quality in service delivery.
  • Lead facilities development projects, ensuring a patient-centric and state-of-the-art environment.
  • Implement revenue cycle management processes, including billing, accounts receivables, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee contracting and credentialing of providers with insurance companies. Participate in negotiation of contracts to optimize profitability of practice.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to align business objectives with patient care goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders, including insurers, vendors, and community partners.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performance team, providing leadership and guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Master's in Business Administration (MBA) highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in healthcare operations, preferably in a leadership role within a private medical practice.
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and business development strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Results-driven and able to meet or exceed business development goals.
