Preschool Special Education Teacher Contract Job Open in Phoenix, AZ

• Dates : ASAP - May 24th, 2024
• Hours : 37.5 hours per week (8-hour days with duty-free lunch - not paid)

Caseload / Details :

• Age Range : 3-5 years old
• Attendance : Students attend 4 days a week, AM & PM sessions (3 hours each day), with Thursdays designated for Planning Prep & IEP
• Support Staff : Classroom includes two other adults for support
• Caseload Size : 20-24 students
• Disability Types : Developmental Delay (DD), Preschool Developmental Delay (PSD) - Mild, Moderate, and Severe
• Teaching Format : 1 : 1 and Small Groups
• Special Requirements : Behavior familiarity, caseload management of IEPs and Lesson Planning, Special Education Teacher Certification - Cross Cat Early Childhood endorsed or certificate

Pay : $30 / hr

Additional Requirements :

• Must have IVP Fingerprint Cards and AZ Certs
• CPI Training is a Plus
• Must be able to manage IEPs and Lesson Planning

Requirements :

• Special Education Teacher Certification with Cross Cat Early Childhood endorsement or certificate.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Cards and AZ Certifications.
• CPI Training is a Plus.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children with developmental delays and disabilities.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and special education practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
