Your Role

• The Design lead will drive a holistic design process, design system, design language & use design to influence strategic decision making, communicate strategic concepts, facilitate understanding, and shape product strategy.

• The role will be focused on innovation and breaking ground within interface design.

• The Design lead will be working with a fast-paced prototyping team, focusing on innovating on the interface design that works between a wearable, mobile and desktop.

• The Design lead will drive the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems.

• The team will operate independently from the software stack, being able to move faster and experiment.

• The Design lead will be an advocate for the user, challenge established thinking, and develop new approaches to solve user challenges. Must be aware of how to design for the betterment of mental health, creating interfaces that are useful, but not addictive

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a design lead role within a company that has a hardware component.

  Strong technical background in design systems and human interfaces.

  Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.

  Experience in a start-up or fast-paced growth environment is highly desirable.

  Strong problem-solving abilities and a forward-thinking mindset.

  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
