Our Warehouse Forklift Operators are certified stand-up forklift drivers who work in Shipping & Receiving and they are responsible for various aspects of warehouse distribution, as well as order fulfillment. Individual responsibilities may include:

• Obtains a copy of production schedule, transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility. Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards. Move materials according to the inventory number for food production, ensuring proper ingredient is pulled and taken out of inventory.
• Assist receiving material orders and report discrepancies to account and purchasing.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks; moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility; stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions; checking loads are secure; stacking empty pallets.
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment; removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
• Pick, pack and scan orders, create a shipment, ship orders to customers and ensuring receipt of products on time.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records; execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner; log and consume all materials and inventory in NAV System picked for the day; always maintain a clean & safe environment.
• Physical Demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for most of the day consecutively. Involves stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, and pivot regularly.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

• Recent 2 year's Receiving experience in a warehouse distribution center with forklift certification per OSHA standards. Previous duties as a stand-up forklift operator.
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills required.
• The high degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
