Mental health plays a vital role in an individual's overall well-being. This is especially true for the young, low-income mothers served by our home visiting programs. These soon-to-be and new moms often suffer from significant depression that can have profound effects on both them and their child(ren). If moms can’t take care of themselves, we can’t expect them to be able to take care of their children. In-home therapy allows them to access this much needed mental health care without worrying about barriers such as transportation and childcare. As an In-Home Therapist, you will help transform the lives of these moms by providing the therapeutic support they need. This support will help them function effectively and provide nurturing support for their child’s growth and development. Your expertise and empathy will provide them with the guidance and tools they need to create healthy home environments for their children, cope with stress, and unlock their full potential.If you are passionate about working with young mothers and possess the necessary skills and compassion, we invite you to come transform lives!Key Responsibilities:

• Counseling: Provide counseling services to clients assigned and ensure sessions are individualized to meet the treatment needs and goals.
• Treatment Planning: Create individualized treatment plans for each client.
• Documentation: Ensure all documentation and reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner

Qualifications

Requirements: Must have a Master’s Degree in a Human Services field, valid driver’s license, and previous experience therapy/clinical experience. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish). Must be willing to do in-home and virtual therapy sessions.Skills: Must be organized, able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and detail oriented. Must be able to interact with, and relate to, diverse groups of people.Miscellaneous: Must pass all pre-employment drug screens and background clearances. Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours to meet the needs of the program. Required to work in clients’ homes and community settings.
