Sperber Landscape Companies is Hiring an Account Manager Near Tempe, AZ

The Account Manager's position is an important function of the operations of the company. This position is to ensure customer relationships are continually developing and sales goals are met. The Account Manager helps the customer to see the and working to enhance the overall appearance and appeal of the property. The Account Manager serves as a trouble shooter, identifying problems and providing solutions that meet customer expectations and overseeing service recovery when necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Customers
    • Liaison to customer
    • Ensure expectations for quality and service are heard and that service actions are taken that meet and exceed customer expectations
    • Provides excellent service (e.g., accurate, complete, and timely) to clients, work-site partners, and company staff in a courteous and efficient manner
    • Quality control for all maintenance, irrigation, extra and pest control work performed at assigned accounts
    • Exhibit our Core Values to our Customers and communicate the company goals, policies, and procedures concerning landscape maintenance to the workforce
    • Attend monthly board meetings as needed
  • Sales
    • Explain to customers the possibilities for their property
      • Create the want for enhancements
      • Create the want for tree work
    • Set customers up with inclusive contracts to lock in rates
  • Communication
    • Communicate customer expectations to Field Supervisors
    • Ensure Field Supervisor understanding of customer specifications
    • Review new hire applications, interview, hire
  • Schedule
    • Coordinate seeding and fertilizing schedule with Operations Manager
    • Explain and discuss schedule with community managers
  • Miscellaneous
    • Drive properties and provide quality control
    • Attend weekly managers meeting
    • Attend HOA Meetings as needed

Certifications:

  • ALCA
  • SLM
  • ISA Certified Arborist

Requirements:

  • Prior landscape management experience: 3 years
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Excellent computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology
  • General business experience
  • Master organizer and attention to detail
  • Detail oriented with customer focus attitude
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills and be able to perform simple calculations

  • Adaptability - the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Dependability - the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Safety and security - the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

Salary Range: DOE

Company cell phone: A company cell phone is provided, for business use only.

Company Vehicle: A take home company vehicle will be provided for company use only.
