$3,040 per week for a Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse RN in Colorado.

We have an immediate 24-week (night or day shift) assignment available for a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) offering full time shifts at a well-established Colorado state psychiatric facility in Pueblo, CO. This destination has been highly ranked by travel nurses on our team!

Pay is $40/hr $1,200 Travel Stipend per week. *Double Time for Overtime*

Shifts for Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurses: 12 hour shifts

Flex shifts (3 days / 4 days per week) will be required, 4th shift goes into OT. All weekly hours over 40 are OT and paid Double Time.

36 hour week = $2640

48 hour week = $3440

Average weekly pay = $3040

$65 per hour for a Local Psychiatric Registered Nurse RN. (1.5x for OT)

Flex shifts (3 days / 4 days per week) will be required, 4th shift goes into OT. All weekly hours over 40 are OT and paid time and a half (1.5x).

36 hour week = $2448

48 hour week = $3536

Average weekly pay = $2992

*NOTE* If you have worked at this facility prior you will not be eligible to return as a contract nurse.

Job duties include:

Providing treatment, evaluation, and holistic care to patients with both psychiatric and medical ailments. Evaluate ongoing patient care on a basis to ensure continuity of care. Employ de-escalation techniques, counseling, and intervenes with Therapeutic Interventions for physical safety to control assaultive or self-destructive behavior. Update patient records per nursing department standards.

Requirements:

• MINIMUM of ONE YEAR of experience working in a mental health or psych facility
• Compact State Nursing License
• Current BLS certification
• Must be able to work weekend shifts
• Able to work holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
