Spectrum Healthcare Resources is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City. As an ICU RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our nation's veterans. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment alongside a team of talented professionals.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurses (RNs) shall have:
Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
A current license in at least one (1) state, territory, or commonwealth in the U.S. or the District of Columbia.
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) by an American Health Association Vendor.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
If assigned to a specialty clinic, contract nurse/RN shall also have current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines.
