Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsible for collaborating with Engineering Services Engineers, other subject matter experts in the implementation and execution of daily goals and objectives to deliver a high level of service and consultation that aligns with the goals and objectives of the organization.

DUTIES:

  • Provide direct support for internal and external customers as well as distribution channels to promote sound firestop engineering principles through phone consultation, chat, email, letters and other modes of engineering communication.
  • Utilize and maintain a thorough knowledge of the products, firestop engineering principles, and construction trends as they relate to the use of firestop products.
  • Take part in appropriate continuing education such as witnessing fire testing and/or take courses or classes regarding firestopping, codes and/or standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • 1 years’ experience in comparable role.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Salesforce preferred but not required.
  • Attention to detail along with strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Superior communication skills, listening, verbal and writing.
  • Sense of urgency in all matters.
  • Experience in a customer service environment for a highly technical product.

HELPFUL BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
  • Comfortable presenting to groups in person or over web conferencing.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Teams and Zoom
