Robert Half Marketing and Creative is currently working with a client in Duluth who is looking to hire a B2B Marketing Content Specialist. This is a direct hire role in Duluth on a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating compelling content for various B2B channels, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), newsletters, press releases, and blog posts. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging content that resonates with our target audience and drives business growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. RFP Content Creation:
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop persuasive and comprehensive responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Craft compelling narratives and value propositions that showcase our products/services effectively.
  • Ensure that all RFP content adheres to brand guidelines and reflects our company's unique selling points.
  1. Newsletter Development:
  • Conceptualize and produce engaging content for regular newsletters targeted at our B2B audience.
  • Curate relevant industry news, company updates, and thought leadership pieces to keep subscribers informed and engaged.
  • Monitor newsletter performance metrics and iterate on content strategies to improve open and click-through rates.
  1. Press Release Composition:
  • Write and distribute press releases to announce company news, product launches, partnerships, and other significant events.
  • Develop compelling story angles and key messages that resonate with media outlets and industry stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure timely press release delivery.
  1. Blog Post Creation:
  • Generate high-quality blog content that aligns with our content strategy and resonates with our target audience.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, market insights, and customer pain points to inform blog topics.
  • Optimize blog posts for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic to our website.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (4 years) as a B2B Content Specialist, Content Writer, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting content for diverse B2B channels, including RFPs, newsletters, press releases, and blog posts.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Strong project management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
