Support the business by developing training materials and change management content for company projects across the Business Enablement department. Solid writing skills and the ability to ramp up quickly on changing technologies, process and business functions are critical to success in this job. This role is responsible for planning, writing, delivery, and maintenance of content, including text, illustrations, and videos. This position will play a vital role in project success by ensuring delivered solutions are understood and embraced by end users.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
  • Planning, creating and maintaining a range of content, like tutorials, how-to topics, and conceptual docs.
  • Manage process & training documentation related for projects inclusive of creating, maintaining, centralizing, and distributing out to relevant teams.
  • Learning new technologies, process, business functions and other products and services to explain in a language that addresses our varied end user personas.
  • Leverage data analytics about usage and performance to continually improve and optimize content.
  • Managing contributions from internal and external users, customers and partners.
  • Work with cross functional teams to gain a clear understanding of changing process or technology intended use, capture details on upcoming releases, timelines, changes in functionality, enhancements or depreciation of features and then document accordingly.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand key training gaps, with the responsibility of creating a plan around addressing them.
  • Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials to engage end users and train them on technology or process.
  • May collect examples and stage sample data in sandbox environment to build various training scenarios.
  • Draft and edit communication materials, including internal news to employees, content for the company intranet, employee presentations, digital assets, leadership communications, etc.
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in content development, training and change management.
Required credentials:
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Instructional Design, Marketing, Journalism or Technical Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 experience creating training materials and curriculum, technical documentation, blog content or other information for business users and customers.
  • Prior experience of interacting with software developers, program/product managers, and other technical writers to plan and deliver clear, easy-to-understand documentation.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience using adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies to develop training (instructor-led, self-study, web-based, virtual).
  • Proficient using MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Forms and Stream.
  • Prior experience with content development and user engagement tools like Microsoft LCS, ClickLearn, Pendo, or WalkMe a plus.
  • Prior experience managing a Learning Management System a plus.
